In Japan, Bjorn consistently prepares and wires clients’ trees for many top exhibitions including the Kokufu-ten, Sakufu-ten, and Taikan-ten. Styling & Maintenance
Periodic visits to your personal bonsai collection can be made for seasonal work, basic maintenance, styling, or consultation about the overall direction of your material. Please e-mail for requests.
Lectures/Demonstrations

Translation Services
Bjorvala Bonsai Studio offers full Japanese-English translation services, both written and spoken, for tour groups, organizations, individuals, and magazines/publications. Bjorn holds a BA and MBA in Business and Japanese language and has spent several years living and working in the Kansai area, which has afforded him a high level of fluency as well as many important contacts in the Japanese bonsai community.
